Marlene is a graduate of the West Coast College 3000 Hour RMT Program. She has had the privilege of growing her practice here in the Lower Mainland ever since. Always having a keen interest in furthering her studies to enable her in overseeing the needs of each client in all their stages of life.
Furthering her skills of being a deep tissue fascial therapist and utilizing various modalities, such as trigger point release, active release, muscle energy technique, postural alignment and more, Marlene has enjoyed working alongside various Doctors, as well as Pain Management Clinics in treating those with some of the most chronic conditions relating to the myo-fascial skeletal system while incorporating the Stecco Fascial Manipulation Method.
With great joy, as of recently Marlene has been working hard pursuing her studies in Mastectomy Care, Pre and Post Surgery Complications, Oncology care, and as of recently has successfully completed all levels of the Dr. Vodder School International.
Marlene is now a fully certified Lymphodema Therapist trained by the Dr. Vodder School in Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and the Dr. Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD).
This certification has allowed Marlene the privilege of working alongside different agencies, such as the BC Cancer Agency and Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center with patients needing Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Combined Decongestive Therapy Care.
Apart from this blessing, Marlene enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking, gardening and valued time with family and friends and her 4 furbabies. She is a huge advocate in rescue organizations caring for animals in need.
